With big dhow through the Lamu archipelago to the island Kiwayu in the Kiunga marine reserve and WWF camp. Fishing, snorkeling and swimming. Two nights in tents at Mkokoni.
The cultural centres Siyu or Faza at Paté island could be visited on the way back.
Entrance fee to the Kiunga Marine Reserve not included.

Lamu archipelago, read more
Explore the islands in the Lamu archipelago. We sail with the big dhow to Pate and visit Pate and Siyou towns. Then on to Ndau with beautiful beaches. Further on to Kiwayu and Kuoi, and on the way back we stop at Kizingitini on Pate and finally Manda Toto.

The dhow Jannat
Most sea excursions are made by our own dhow called Jannat. It is a large 12m dhow with in-built diesel engine, simple toilet facilities, small kitchen and a sun deck
.
It has it´s own well experienced crew and a chef called "Doctor" i.e. he claims he has a degree in Swahili food, and of course, makes wonderful tasty dinners onboard with fresh food and fresh vegetables.
