	School project The resources are small in Lamu, like in most developing countries, and all help is welcome. Our ambition is to take an active interest in project that aim in an important and efficient way. One example is to give economic help to schools, but also to help children whose parents can't afford to send them to school. With our knowledge and with the help from clients, collaborators and suppliers, we can provide for the children to have the possibility to go to school.
	Hand made furniture from a local carpenter in Lamu are available for purchase.
	Jannat house is also envolved in various eco-projects, financed by income from the hotel business, like the shamba (a small farm) just outside the city of Lamu, where fruit trees, palms etc. are being cultivated.
